Who Can Conduct and Investigation
Veritas Workplace Investigations is fully qualified under California law to conduct thorough, impartial workplace investigations. Under California law, there are generally three types of professionals who can lawfully provide investigation services: (1) a trained, unbiased employee of the organization, (2) a California licensed attorney, or (3) a California licensed private investigator. Unlicensed consultants are typically not an option in most California workplace investigations. Our team consists of experienced employment attorneys who understand the legal standards governing workplace investigations, including the requirements under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and related California statutes. As an AWI-certified investigator, Javier Rivera Carbone ensures that all investigations adhere to best practices, while George H. Bean’s extensive litigation experience informs our meticulous, unbiased approach. Our qualifications and commitment to impartiality make us a trusted choice for employers seeking compliance and integrity in resolving workplace disputes.
